Every Office run follows the same controlled path — and the privacy check is a gate, not a formality.

1. You open the document

The document opens in a browser-based DOCX editor. Authorised team members can work in the same document environment.

2. Vera takes a current snapshot

Before any document task, the current version is saved first. Vera never quietly analyses a stale copy.

3. The Privacy Shield takes over

Sensitive values are replaced locally with synthetic equivalents. Roles, relationships and meaning stay intact — the selected external models never receive the original values. The shielded version is checked before sending. If that check does not pass, the process stops.

4. Vera analyses or edits

A read request runs through your chosen multi-model verification chain. A write request is first turned into a limited, validated action plan — only then is the change applied and saved.

An AI answer and a document change are not the same thing
